By the way this villa is in Tuscany, Italy.

Consumerism

Today's world is pure Consumerism, I wish governments try to reduce the amount of commercials and buying temptations on the media but I guess this cannot be done cause Ads/Commercials = more business and governments is too weak to piss companies, or at least someone comes up with a pill that will blind/block commercial media.

Mac OS X Lion.. Not Yet

As the latest of Apple's OS big cats released just yesterday, I don't feel like jumping in the bandwagon just yet. Of course, all the promo and press material mention 250+ new features etc, I don't feel like it's anything groundbreaking, yes there's a new Mail app, Launchpad and Mission Control as the top new features, I feel like they're add-ons or a (Service Pack) more than being a big step forward as new OS, Also my Mac is running as smooth as it can be without any complaints so there will be no need for an upgrade for now.

Playa Barceloneta, Barcelona

Considered one of the finest urban beaches on the planet, it really is a nice place, potentially super nice if it wasn't for the countless asian beach sellers which are really mood killers, they sell you everything from a drinks/sunglasses/food and of course massage by the chinese women,  yes it's illegal but from my many visits I couldn't see any effort to stop them only once.

Argentina Out, Good!

Yesterday Argentina was eliminated by brave Uruguay in Copa America after extra time penalties which where the Uruguayan goalie made the difference by saving Tevez's spot kick, and somehow it feels good! why?
before explaining why, you need to know that Argentina is one of my favorite teams since the day I started to understand football beside Italy and let's say.. Holland, but the fact is Argentinian man management sucks! Look at the man above, he's not only the oldest man on the field yesterday and not the most experienced he's the most capped player in Argentina's history, at 37 years old and he's pretty much as good or maybe better than players half his age. Yet, he's not the captain! why? I don't really know. Now I'm not saying all this because i'm an interista, but most neutral football lovers would agree with me. Situations like this or worse are all over argentinian football from Riquelme to Cambiasso to Samuel and others and it's been going on even before Maradona coached them last year. when you will learn Argentina?

Spotify

People in the States are so fed up with iTunes that they went crazy on the launch of Spotify more than 4th of July. For the some who still doesn't know what Spotify is, it's a digital music store/streaming service which was only available in europe, so why all the hype? It's FREE, millions of tracks are available for free streaming, of course there is some kind of premium account without ads and a better sound quality but for an average user (read free) it's not bad at all. I had a test drive on the desktop and iPhone app and I was really impressed.

Review: AiAiAi TMA-1

I may not be an audiophile but I always like to try some gear that would change how my favorite songs would sound. I came by these cans which are made by Danish company AiAiAi (pronounced Eye-Eye-Eye), and when I say Danish you should expect extreme yet cool minimal looks, there are chrome no logos, just a rugged matte black headphones, simple as that.

The TMA-1 was designed by DJs for the DJs, their rugged finish gives them great durability and a nice touch, they are not "I'm the big shot DJ" flashy cool but the professional clean looking cool. they come with a coiled cable for a better movement range for DJs, but you can always change it for a straight short cable for portable use, and yes they can be portable as they are really light weight. also you get 2 pairs of semi-leather and foam earcups, Semi leather is the one you should stick with, not that the foam ones aren't comfortable but it's a sound wise selection. They were also a great fit and sturdy out of the box without any headband adjustments and didn't feel like going to fall off with movement. Packaging is really superb for headphones at this price.

Sound wise I was really impressed with the first try to be honest, the sound was pretty dark and muddy at first so I played around with the EQs then I turned EQs off and realized, this is how the song should be, and it really sounded better without any EQ, bass is strong yet doesn't cover the mids, you get pretty detailed bass and mids so vocals are clear and crisp while the highs are sweet and don't give you fatigue, the sound is really balanced with no compromise.

All and all, I seriously think you can't get a better deal than the TMA-1 with this price range (200-300$), The cool minimalist and rugged design isn't given justice by any photo, you gotta hold and see them yourself, the verdict? Highly Recommended.
